
Hayes-Taylor YMCA has activites for youth through teens. We offer programs such as Kiddie Kollege, Afterschool, Summer Camp and the Black and Hispanic Achievers program. Feel free to contact us about these exciting opportunities for your family!

For summer 2007, Hayes-Taylor offers Camp Sizzler. Camp Sizzler is an all day 11-week licensed summer camp with weekly themes for children ages 5-14. (5 year olds must have completed kindergarten) Daily activities include games, sports, recreational swimming, creative art, literacy, dance, music, and drama. Weekly field trips and special events are a perfect conclusion to our fun packed weeks!
Summer Camp Registration begins April 2nd! Camp sessions are offered from June 12th - August 18th. Don't miss out on the FUN!

Regarding childcare, one of the most popular offerings we have is our 4-Star acredited Kiddie Kollege. The director of this program is Lelia Womack, our child care coordinator. Please feel free to email her here.

The Hayes-Taylor YMCA after school program is for children ages 5 to 13. (5 year olds must be already enrolled in kindergarten.)
Our program engages children in a variety of activities to help them learn and have fun after the school bell has rung. Activities include:
Group games
Homework assistance
Character development
Physical education
Arts & Crafts
Supervised swimming
Special interest programs
Family nights
The hours for the after school program are Monday thru Friday from 2:30pm-6:00pm. There is a one time non-refundable registration fee of $20.00.
Weekly fees:
$45.00/members (first child)
$40.00/members (each additional child)
$50.00/non-members (first child)
$45.00/non-members (each additional child)
We also offer Summer Camp and Full Day programs when school is out.
Black and Hispanic Achievers is a nationally recognized teen mentoring program for 8th-12th graders. The focus is to educate and expose youth to various career fields as well as promote and encourage teens to further their education to post secondary institutions. Youth have the opportunity to take company and college tours and participate in training and self-esteem sessions. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00am - 12:30pm. Program registration fee is $25.00 per student.
